Lebanon, Tenn. - - Women's soccer are back at home tomorrow as they play Freed-Hardeman in their fourth MSC game of the season. The team will also honor the seniors and their contributions to the program. 

In all time history it has been the Phoenix who have had the majority of success with an 11-3 record, with the largest margin of victory coming in 2023 when Cumberland put 13 past the Lions. Freed-Hardeman hasn't beaten the Phoenix since 2011. 

Cumberland is coming off the back of a big 6-1 victory over Bethel. The Phoenix started the game strong and got on the front foot in the 12th minute Sky Hull got on the end of a well placed Seika Stull cross and slotted the ball past the Bethel goalkeeper. Olga Wallemo followed in a freekick from Kadisha Martina to get the tap in goal and make it 2-0. 

Adelyn Drane won a penalty in the 30th minute after making a positive run inside off the right wing. The freshman stepped forward and showed composure as she slotted it to the right of the goalkeeper and made it 3-0 at the half. The second half saw a flurry of three more goals for the Phoenix as they ran out 6-1 winners. 

Freed-Hardeman have yet to get a win this season so far, going 0-11-1. In their most recent match up the Lions faced Georgetown College and narrowly lost, 2-1. Ellie Wood leads the Lions in goals with four this season, and Isabel Croke leads with five assists. Goalkeeper Ava Pierce has been kept busy, as the senior has made 59 saves across 10 games. 

The Phoenix will honor seven seniors tomorrow for their hard work and commitment to the program, with festivities beginning an hour before kickoff. The game is scheduled for a 12pm start time and will be followed by the men's soccer game just after.
