The Cumberland University Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) is a leadership group comprised of student-athletes representing each of our athletic programs. SAAC serves as a bridge between student-athletes and the athletic administration, providing valuable insight on the student-athlete experience and offering input on policies that impact student-athletes both on campus and within the Mid-South Conference and NAIA.

Each team selects one student-athlete to serve as its representative. These individuals act as the voice of their teammates, bringing forward feedback, ideas, and concerns while promoting unity and collaboration across all Cumberland athletic programs. SAAC members also participate in regular meetings, coordinate community service initiatives, and support campus engagement efforts. An executive board, elected by SAAC members, leads the committee and communicates directly with athletic department leadership.
