LEBANON, Tenn.--Cumberland Esports Valorant team captures the Mid-South Conference Championship for the second year in a row.

The Cumberland Esports Valorant team consists of Chase Rammell, William Wright, Carson Rose, David Griffith, Gio Colon, and Ezequiel Fachini.

Throughout the regular season the Phoenix went undefeated going 4-0 in conference play, while not dropping a single map, to earn the number one seed as well as a first round bye. The Phoenix met a familiar face in the Patriots from the University of the Cumberlands for the conference championship. Last time these two teams met, the Phoenix took a 2-0 victory with map scores of 13-4 and 13-3.

The Phoenix continued the momentum from the regular season, with finding a swift 2-0 victory over the Patriots, with map scores of 13-3 and 13-1. With this victory the Phoenix have secured the Mid-South Conference Championship for the second year in a row.

Cumberland Esports has now won the Mid-South Conference Championship in Valorant, Overwatch, and Rocket League.
