LEBANON, Tenn. -- Cumberland Women's Volleyball hosts Lindsey Wilson in a matchup with both teams finding their stride in the early part of conference play.

Cumberland (10-11, 2-1) is coming off a four-set win in their conference home opener against Georgetown. The Phoenix have won three of the last four matches as they host Lindsey Wilson.

Cumberland's attack has been in the middle of the pack in conference, sitting fourth in kills/set (11.77), hitting percentage (.187), and assists per set (10.92). While defensively, the Phoenix are fifth in digs/set (13.76) and second in blocks per set (1.9). 

Cumberland has five Phoenix attackers that are hitting over 1.8 kills per set. Junior outside Carola Schnidrig (2.62 k/s), sophomore outside Bianca Guceanu (2.16 k/s), sophomore setter Carlee Rogers (1.97 k/s), sophomore right Jacey Hubbell (1.85 k/s), and junior middle Liberty Shadix (1.81 k/s). Rogers has been the lead distributor for the Phoenix, giving 7.06 assists per set, while redshirt junior setter Emma Chavers has given out 2.6 assists per set. 

Schnidrig has been a two-way force, collecting 2.6 digs per set, while also hitting 32 service aces this season. Senior libero Kaleigh Glass has collected 3.73 digs per set to anchor the Phoenix defense, while Shadix leads a strong front line with .93 blocks per set and 70 total blocks this season. 

For the Blue Raiders (12-10, 2-1), they are on a three-game winning streak, as Lindsey Wilson has only dropped one set in their last three matchups. 

The Blue Raiders' offense hits 11.86 kills per set on a .196 hitting percentage while allowing 11.8 kills per set on a .175 hitting percentage. Lindsey Wilson's defense has collected 14.1 digs per set and blocked 1.7 shots per set this season on the other side of the net.

Individually, the Blue Raiders are led by junior outside Luisina Sandrone Tais, who is hitting nearly three kills per set on .219 hitting percentage. To complement Tais, outsides Tully Bew and Dabi Zuquelo have both hit over 2.5 kills per set. With Bew having a hitting percentage of .184 and Zuquelo having a hitting percentage of .194. Freshman setter Addison Janes has been distributing 5.75 assists per set, while their defense is anchored by senior libero Momo Hampton, who has 4.53 digs per set. 

In the series between the Phoenix and Blue Raiders, Lindsey Wilson has dominated, winning 41 of the 50 matchups against Cumberland. CU is looking for its first win over the Blue Raiders in four years as Cumberland has been swept in 2023, 2024, and 2025. When the Phoenix hosts Lindsey Wilson, they have a record of 5-19.
