Dmitry Utolin

Dmitry Utolin begins his first year as a Graduate Assistant for the Men’s Basketball team at Cumberland University.

Utolin began his basketball career at West Texas A&M before transferring and spending his last two years at Lindsey Wilson College in Columbia, Kentucky, where he played for the Men’s Basketball team.

During his time at Lindsey he played in 61 games for the Blue Raiders, he led the team in points per game with 15.4 and averaged 4.9 rebounds per game at the forward position. In those two years, he became a 2-time MSC All-Conference and an NAIA All-American. After graduating from Lindsey in 2017, Utolin played professionally overseas in Russia and Spain.

Utolin will be responsible for overseeing daily operations of the men’s basketball program as well as help with budgeting and administrative duties. He also assisted with the coordination and implementation of travel arrangements.

He is pursuing a master's in business administration and will graduate in the summer of 2020.
