LEBANON, TENN.-- Cumberland Men's Soccer dominates against St. Mary-of-the-Wood's College in 6-0 Victory. 

The No. 14 ranked Phoenix looked to keep the streak alive with a win today that would propel them to four wins in a row. The Phoenix scored six goals on 13 shots on goal and attempted 20 shots. The Phoenix defense only allowed two shots on goal and 10 attempted shots. 

The Phoenix got off to a fast start after a goal by Rune Petersen in which was assisted by Marcos Perez and Ruairi Behan for Peterson's eighth goal of the season which ranks second in the Mid-South Conference. 

Petersen got on the board again quickly, after he was assisted by Brima Kamara for his ninth goal of the season with two quick goals. 

After a long pass down the field, Jostin Angel scores his first goal as a Cumberland Phoenix to extend the lead 3-0. Angel's score was assisted by Philipp Schmidtke. 

Brima Kamara scores a beautiful goal in full stride after a pass down field from Luis Cerejo. This was Kamara's sixth goal of the season.

Robbie Lyons scored his 12th goal of the season after finding himself one-on-one with the keeper and flipping it right over the head of him for his first goal of the match. Lyon's goal extended the lead 5-0.

Philipp Schmidtke got in on the action and scored a goal to record his first of the game and his sixth of the season to extend the lead to 6-0.

The Phoenix will be on the road this Saturday back in conference play as they travel to Henderson to meet the Freed-Hardeman Lions. The match will start at 4:00 p.m.
