Cumberland Baseball to Host Winter Hitting Camp January 10-11

LEBANON, Tenn.--Cumberland University Baseball will host a Winter Hitting Camp on January 10-11 at the Cumberland University campus, offering young hitters the opportunity to develop their offensive skills under the instruction of the Phoenix coaching staff.

The two-day camp is open to athletes ages 7–18 and will be split into age-specific sessions to maximize instruction and individualized attention. Campers ages 7–12 will train from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., while athletes ages 13–18 will take the field from 12:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. each day. The cost for the camp is $200.

The camp will focus on all aspects of hitting, including mechanics, approach, timing, and situational awareness, while giving participants hands-on instruction in a collegiate baseball environment. Sessions will be held at Ernest L. Stockton Field-Woody Hunt Stadium on the campus of Cumberland University.
