LEBANON, Tenn. - - Cumberland delivered a dominant performance on Senior Day this afternoon, sweeping Freed-Hardeman 7-0.

The Phoenix set the tone early in doubles play, taking two of the three matches to grab the doubles point. The No. 1 pairing of Elina Sungatullina and Maria Arbelaez handled business convincingly with a 6-0 win, while the No. 2 duo of Asya Tilsim Timur and Madeleine Darud followed with a strong 7-5 victory. Freed-Hardeman managed its lone highlight in doubles at the No. 3 spot, where Audrey and Anna Harder earned a 6-4 win, but Cumberland still claimed the early advantage.

In singles, Cumberland left no doubt. The Phoenix swept all six matches in straight sets, showcasing depth and consistency across the lineup. Maria Arbelaez led the charge at No. 1 with a straight sets 6-2, 6-3 win, while Elina Sungatullina mirrored that dominance at No. 2, winning 6-0, 6-2.

Madeleine Darud battled through a competitive match at No. 3, fighting her way to a straight sets win, 7-6 (7-3), 6-3, and the rest of the lineup followed suit. Ame Van Eijk and Ana Melo Bulcao Souza both earned comfortable victories on courts four and five, winning 6-2, 6-1 and 6-4, 6-2 respectively, while Grace Deckert closed things out at No. 6 with another straight-set win, 7-6 (7-4), 6-4.

Cumberland will be right back in action this Saturday, taking on the No. 2 ranked Lindsey Wilson Blue Raiders in Columbia, Kentucky.
