As of the 2023-2024 season, we have shifted to a recruitment model for our team selection. This means that we will no longer offer traditional tryouts as have been done in previous seasons. We would like to mirror other schools and continue to be competitive in our industry. We will be seeking top tier talent not only here in Tennessee, but also around the country! Below you will find details about our recruitment process here at CU as well as a projected timeline for recruitment.
Recruitment Process:
1. Contact our coaching staff!
    - You can contact our coaching staff by completing the recruitment form on our website. Once completed, a member of our staff will be in touch with you!
2. Show us your skills!
    - You can do this by attending a recruitment clinic, recruiting combine, or emailing videos of your jumps, tumbling (preferred but not required), and stunting to cuspirit@cumberland.edu.
            *if sending in videos, please include your graduation year and first and last name in your email
3. Apply to CU!
    - Click here to apply to Cumberland University. Athletes must be accepted into the university in order to receive a scholarship offer.
Recruitment Timeline:
- August 1st: Application opens for graduating seniors and college transfers
- Mid-Late Fall: Coaching staff will begin sending out scholarship offers and signing new athletes
