MOUNT BERRY, Ga.--Cumberland men's tennis duo Julian Parada and Vitor Ferreira lost their opening round match with No. 1 seed at the ITA Cup. 

Parada and Ferreira battled, but lost the first set 6-2. In the second set, the team gave the No. 1 seed of Nereo Suarez and Jacobi Bain from Xavier all they could handle, but lost the set in tiebreakers, 7-6 (7-4). 

The team will take on Martin Millos and Michael Beltran from McPherson tomorrow at 4:00 p.m.

Millos and Beltran also lost an opening round match in tiebreakers, losing the third set 10-8 to Laurenz Flender and Perry Gregg from Holy Cross College.

Last season, Adrijan Hrzic and Pavel Kelo took on the same duo of Beltran and Millos and won the match in two sets, 7-6 (10-8), 6-4.
