Cumberland Athletics Celebrates Outstanding Fall GPAs

LEBANON, Tenn.--Cumberland Athletics is proud to unveil the finalized Fall Semester GPAs for our esteemed student-athletes. This semester's achievements, combined with our cumulative GPA, underscore the unwavering dedication of our athletes and the holistic approach to student-athlete development at Cumberland.

It's not just individual teams that have excelled; collectively, Cumberland Athletics boasts a commendable cumulative GPA of 3.238. This outstanding figure is a testament to the culture of academic excellence that permeates every corner of our department. Furthermore, the Fall Semester saw our student-athletes achieve a GPA of 3.106, further highlighting the consistent dedication to both athletic and academic pursuits.

Men's Golf stands tall with the highest-team GPA at an impressive 3.835, showcasing their dedication on and off the greens. Men's Tennis and Women's Tennis both impress with GPAs of 3.794 and 3.672 respectively. Women's Volleyball boasts a team GPA of 3.575 and Women's Basketball posted a 3.554. Women's Golf also posted a 3.532 to round out the teams with above a 3.5 team GPA.

Several teams have showcased their academic prowess with GPAs above the 3.0 mark Men's Volleyball and Softball display their commitment with GPAs of 3.383 and 3.351. The Men's and Women's Bowling combined for a GPA of 3.345.

Women's Soccer not only got it done on the pitch winning a conference title, but also posted a 3.336 GPA. Likewise, Men's Soccer added 3.220 as another Conference Championship winning team this fall.

The Women's Track and Field athletes sprinted ahead with a commendable GPA of 3.292. Men's Cross Country maintained a steady pace, securing a GPA of 3.222, and the Baseball team added a solid 3.192. The Wrestling team grappled their way to a notable 3.175, and the spirited Cheer squad cheered on with a GPA of 3.165. Meanwhile, the Men's Track and Field athletes crossed the academic finish line with a GPA of 3.060, and the Esports team leveled up with a GPA of 3.037.

Each of these GPAs represents more than just numbers; they embody the dedication, discipline, and resilience of our student-athletes, who juggle rigorous training schedules with academic responsibilities.
