BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Two members of the Cumberland University men's cross country team have been recognized for their excellence in the classroom, as the Mid-South Conference announced its 2025 Academic All-Conference Team on Wednesday.

To be eligible for the honor, student-athletes must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and have completed at least one year at their institution.

Cumberland's honorees include Matteo Abel and Ethan Garcia. Cumberlands (Ky.) led all institutions with 12 selections, followed by Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.) with eight and Campbellsville (Ky.) with seven.
