Phoenix Unveil 2026 Cross Country Slate

LEBANON, Tenn.--Cumberland University head cross country coach Josh McMillan has announced the Phoenix men's and women's cross country schedules for the 2026 season.

Cumberland opens the campaign on August 29 at the Freed Speed in Pinson, Tennessee, before traveling to Indiana for the IWU Twilight on September 4.

The Phoenix continue their September schedule at the Southern Showcase in Huntsville, Alabama, on September 18, a meet that annually attracts strong regional and national competition.

October features two opportunities as Cumberland competes at the Royals Challenge in Charlotte, North Carolina, on October 9 before making the trip to Grand Rapids, Michigan, for the Great Lakes Challenge on October 24, another annual meet that will bring in tough competition.

The postseason begins on November 6 when the Phoenix compete at the Mid-South Conference Championship in Bowling Green, Kentucky. The NAIA National Championship is set for November 20 in Vancouver, Washington.
