Cumberland Wrestling Wraps Up 2025-26 Rankings at No. 13

LEBANON, Tenn.--Cumberland Wrestling finishes the final poll ranked at No. 13 ahead of the Mid-South Conference Championship this Friday.

The Phoenix posted a 10-1 record and went a perfect 4-0 at home inside Dallas Floyd Phoenix Arena. Cumberland also finished 5-0 in neutral-site competition and 1-1 on the road. Cumberland's only blemish came on the road against No. 8 Campbellsville, falling 29-10 in the last conference matchup of the dual season.

Cumberland University continues to showcase one of the most balanced lineups in the country, as seven Phoenix wrestlers earned national rankings in the latest poll.

Chase Walker holds steady at No. 22 nationally at 125 pounds with a 13-5 record. Sammy Shires climbed one spot to No. 2 in the country with an impressive 14-1 record. Teammate Jared Dinh slid down to No. 7 with a 7-2 record.

At 149 pounds, Victor Guzman is ranked No. 5 nationally with a 13-1 mark. Anthony Pyron is ranked No. 21 at 174 pounds with a 13-4 record.

At 184 pounds, Rocco Horvath moved up one spot to No. 9 nationally with a 9-4 record. Tyler Rowland is ranked No. 14 at 197 pounds with a 14-4 record.

The regular season now gives way to the Mid-South Conference Championships, set for Feb. 13 in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
