Phoenix Earn No. 6 Seed, Set for Quarterfinal Matchup with Cumberlands in MSC Tournament

LEBANON, Tenn.--The Mid-South Conference announced the 2026 MSC Men's Basketball Tournament bracket, with Cumberland earning the No. 6 seed and a quarterfinal matchup against No. 3 seed Cumberlands.

The Phoenix will face the Patriots on Saturday, February 28 at 7:30 p.m. CT at Bowling Green Arena on the campus of Bowling Green High School. The winner advances to the semifinal round on Sunday.

Freed-Hardeman secured the No. 1 overall seed after capturing the regular-season championship with a perfect 12-0 conference record and will receive a bye into the semifinals. Georgetown earned the No. 2 seed, followed by Cumberlands at No. 3 and Lindsey Wilson at No. 4.

Cumberland, Bethel, and Campbellsville finished tied in the conference standings, with tiebreakers determining the final seeding. Campbellsville claimed the No. 5 seed based on its win over Georgetown during the regular season, while Cumberland earned the No. 6 seed by virtue of its head-to-head advantage over Bethel, which enters as the No. 7 seed.

Saturday's quarterfinal action begins at 2:30 p.m. CT with Lindsey Wilson taking on Campbellsville, followed by Georgetown and Bethel at 5:00 p.m. CT. Cumberland and Cumberlands will close out the quarterfinal round at 7:30 p.m. CT.

The semifinal round is scheduled for Sunday, March 1, with the championship game set for Monday, March 2 at 7:30 p.m. CT.

The tournament champion will receive the Mid-South Conference's automatic bid to the NAIA National Tournament.
