LEBANON,Tenn.-- Cumberland Quarterback, Luke Holloway named Mid-South Conference Offensive Player of the Week after a 47-35 victory against Florida Memorial as announced today by the league office. 

The redshirt junior from Blue Ridge, Ga., was nearly perfect in the air for the Phoenix going 11-12 in the air with 85 yards and a touchdown pass to Isaiah O'Neal. Holloway had a career game running the ball with 12 carries and 161 rushing yards. The Junior quarterback broke away for the longest run of his career with a 64 yard touchdown late in the third quarter to go ahead of Florida Memorial by three scores. 

This is Holloway's first MSC Offensive Player of the Week honor this season and in his career.

The Phoenix will be back in action October 5th in Campbellsville, Ky., to take on the Tigers of Campbellsville University at 6:00 PM looking to improve to 5-0 on the year.
