BOWLING GREEN, Ky.--Phoenix Women's Golf endure a cold, rainy day to sit in third after day one of the Mid-South Conference Fall Preview

Due to course conditions and the pace of play, tournament directors decided to cut it to a 36 hole tournament with 18 holes today and 18 tomorrow.  

The Phoenix shot a 318 on day one to sit 12-strokes behind the leader. University of the Cumberlands is in first carding a 306 and Lindsey Wilson is in second place three strokes ahead of the Phoenix. 

Nathalie Nutu fired a 76 today to sit in a tie for second place. Maria Neira from the Cumberlands is in first with a three stroke lead. Nutu posted one birdie on No. 13 and three bogeys and one double. 

Matilda Lind is also in the top 5 tied for fifth place. Lind finished one stroke behind Nutu with a 77. Lind had one birdie, four bogeys and one double bogey. 

Ida Furuheim is tied for 11th after shooting an 82. Furuheim picked up two birdies, four bogeys, a double, and two triples on the round. 

Lucy Labdon and Caitlin Bilham are both tied for 15th place after each shot an 83. Labdon had 10 pars, five bogeys, and three doubles. Bilham tied for the most birdies on the day with Furuheim, but had six bogeys, and three doubles. 

Franziska Mramor and Ksenia Yakovleva rounded out the team's performances with a 90 and 103 on the day. 

The start time for the final round were pushed back to 10:00 a.m. with hopes of better conditions for the final round.
