LEBANON, Tenn.--Cumberland guard Triston Conger has been named the Mid-South Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week, the league announced Monday, after powering the Phoenix to a 2-1 week with an exceptional all-around performance.

The Hendersonville, Tennessee, native was dominant across three games, averaging 23.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 5.7 assists per game while shooting 56.8% from the field, 50% from three-point range, and 81% from the free-throw line.

Conger exploded for a career-high 32 points in a 91-86 win over St. Ambrose, going 11-for-17 from the floor and 10-for-11 at the line, while also adding nine rebounds and seven assists. He followed that up with 19 points, seven rebounds, and seven assists in a road win over Calumet.

This season Conger is averaging 21.3 points per game through the first four games. He is third in the NAIA with 23 assists and eighth in field goals shooting 30-for-55 so far.
