LEBANON, Tenn. - - The Cumberland Women's Bowling team took part in the Colubia 300 Hoosier Classic this weekend and placed 19th among strong competition.

As a team the Phoenix knocked down a total of 8461 pins, landing them near the top of the heap, also bowling past the 3000 mark in baker play with a score of 3063.

Serenity Freeman led the pack for Cumberland, totaling 989 pins for a 197.8 game average, landing her in 62nd place.

Next up was Alyssa Campbell who placed 98th overall with a 936 pin performance, while Gracie Connelly was just three pins shy of her with 933, good for 103rd.

Kathleen Schraer landed in 279th place, totaling 566 pins in her three games, averaging 188.7. Jennifer Chiarillo also bowled three games and knocked down 490 pins en route to a 163.3 game average for 308th.

Bowling just two games, Kaylie Gibson did quite well with a 225 in her first ten frames, but couldn't keep that pace her next time around. Gibson totaled 365 for a 182.5 game average and 339th place. The last member of the Phoenix to compete was Carlie Semrau who also bowled two games, scoring 293 pins for a 146.5 average, taking 367th place.

This weekend the Phoenix will take part in the Mid-South Conference Championships in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
