Women's Bowling Place 10th at ITC Team Championships Ft. Worth Sectional

FT. WORTH, Texas - - The Cumberland Women's Bowling Team took part in the ITC Team Championships qualifier in Ft. Worth, Texas, placing inside the top ten of a strong field of competition.

The Phoenix started in tenth place knocking down a high of 219 pins in game eight and within the first 16 games. The Phoenix knocked down a total of 2813 pins within the first block which totaled 16 games. 

In the second block, the Phoenix heated up a bit more, jumping up a spot to ninth place. They totaled 2985 pins knocked down and recorded a high in the second block of 252. Cumberland was not separated by much in the second block to try and make a big jump inside the top five. 

The Phoenix stayed in ninth place coming into third block scoring a block high of 213. The women totaled 2824 pins that put CU in a great spot to jump some times ahead of them with a good showing in the final and fourth block. 

The fourth and final block, the Phoenix dropped to tenth place but recorded a high of 201 in the block. They combined for 2844 pins in the block but finished the weekend totaling 11,466 pins in all four of the blocks. The women's team finished in tenth place on the weekend.
