LEBANON, Tenn.--The Mid-South Conference announced the bracket for the 2026 MSC Softball Tournament on Saturday, with Cumberland earning the No. 6 seed and set to open postseason play on Wednesday, April 29.

The tournament will be held at Sparks Park in Columbia, Ky., with the championship game scheduled for Saturday, May 2. The tournament champion will receive the conference's automatic bid to the NAIA National Tournament.

Cumberland (17-23, 6-12 MSC) will face No. 7 seed Bethel (12-32, 3-15 MSC) in an elimination game on Wednesday at 5:00 p.m. CT to open the tournament. The winner will advance into the double-elimination bracket and face No. 3 seed Campbellsville on Thursday at 1:30 p.m. CT.

Lindsey Wilson enters the tournament as the No. 1 overall seed after capturing the MSC regular-season title with a 14-4 conference record (38-6 overall) and will receive a bye into the winner's bracket semifinals. The University of the Cumberlands claimed the No. 2 seed, followed by Campbellsville at No. 3 and Freed-Hardeman at No. 4. Georgetown rounds out the field as the No. 5 seed.

The Phoenix and Georgetown tied for fifth in the regular-season standings, with Georgetown earning the higher seed based on the conference tiebreaker of head-to-head competition.

Thursday's slate features four winner's bracket contests, beginning at 11:00 a.m. CT with Freed-Hardeman facing Georgetown. The winner will advance to meet Lindsey Wilson at 4:00 p.m. CT. Later in the day, the Cumberland/Bethel winner will take on Campbellsville at 1:30 p.m. CT, with that winner advancing to face Cumberlands at 6:30 p.m. CT.

The tournament will continue through the weekend, culminating in Saturday's championship game at 3:30 p.m. CT. If necessary, an additional championship game will be played on Sunday at noon CT.
