LEBANON, Tenn.--The 2024 Mid-South Conference Women's Cross Country Champions of Character team has been released with
Jenna Towles earning a spot for Cumberland, conference officials announced on Tuesday.
The MSC recognizes a Champions of Character Team for each championship sport. The student-athletes that are honored on the Champions of Character Team were nominated by their coaches based on their leadership on campus and in the community while demonstrating the five core character values of the NAIA.
Towles earns the honor for the first time in her career. She is a sophomore from Portland, Tennessee that attended Portland High School. She is joined by Bethel's (Tenn.) Allie Chappell, Campbellsville's (Ky.) Nina Daman, Cumberlands' (Ky.) Maelyn Barker, Freed-Hardeman's (Tenn.) Zena Dorris, Georgetown's (Ky.) Elizabeth Lavinder, and Lindsey Wilson's (Ky.) Alejandra Formoso.
The Mid-South Conference Championship is this Friday in Bowling Green.
