Idamadudu earns Eighth Career MSC Indoor Track Athlete of the Week Award

LEBANON, Tenn.--Praise Idamadudu has been honored as the Mid-South Conference Indoor Track Athlete of the Week after a standout performance at the Vanderbilt Invitational on January 17-18.

The senior from Nigeria showcased her elite speed in both the 200m and 400m events, earning an event win and a top-five finish against a competitive field of athletes from various divisions.

In the 200m, Idamadudu took first place among 64 competitors with a blazing time of 24.25 seconds, which ranks as the second-fastest time in the NAIA this season. She followed that performance with a fourth-place finish in the 400m, clocking in at 54.72 seconds—the best time recorded in the NAIA this season. Her times qualified her for nationals in both events with NAIA "A" standards.

This is Idamadudu's first weekly honor of the 2025 indoor season and her eighth of her career in indoor. She now has 16 total Mid-South Conference weekly honors including eight from the outdoor seasons.
