Cumberland Sits Third with Lind, Zamzow, and Labdon in Top 10 at MSC Fall Preview

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.--Cumberland women's golf wrapped up day one of the Mid-South Conference Fall Preview in third place after completing the first round and roughly half of round two before play was suspended Monday evening at Bowling Green Country Club.

The Phoenix sit in third place at 492 strokes. Cumberland shot a 325 in the first round. Lindsey Wilson leads the event in first after a 318 in round one and are 42-over as a team. The Cumberlands are five strokes behind Lindsey Wilson and six strokes ahead of the Phoenix in second place.

Junior Matilda Lind led the way for Cumberland and currently sits in second place overall. Lind posted a first-round 77 and has played10 holes in round two. Lind collected two birdies and 10 pars in her first round.

Crystal Zamzow is tied for sixth after carding an 83 in the opening round and shooting a 38 through nine holes in round two. She is 13-over for her tournament.

Lucy Labdon is tied for ninth with rounds of 84 and 38 through 10 holes. Alba McCorquodale sits tied for 16th with an 81 in round one and has played 11 holes in her second round, while Franziska Mramor is tied for 24th after an 89 in round one and 10 holes into her second round. Individual Katelyn DeHart shot 99 in the opening round and is through 11 holes in round two.

The Phoenix will resume round two play Tuesday morning before finishing the event with the third round.
