YPSILANTI, Mich.--After a wash out on the first day, the Phoenix fired a 314 to sit in 12th place overall at the NAIA National Championship. Matilda Lind and Crystal Zamzow both sit inside the Top 10 of the field after shooting a three-over par. 

Most of the Phoenix played all of round one today shooting a 314 two strokes ahead of the cut line after day one. The field will be cut to the Top 15 teams and ties after tomorrow's round as well as the top six individuals left on non-advancing teams. 

Dalton State leads the field after firing a 301 in round one. Truett McConnell is two strokes behind the Roadrunners in second place. British Columbia and Southeastern are tied for third at 305 strokes. Keiser and SCAD-Savannah are tied for fifth at 310.

Lind and Zamzow each led the charge for the Phoenix and are both tied for seventh place individually. Lind carded a three-over par. Lind posted a four-over 40 on the front with five pars and four bogeys before picking up two birdies on the back on No. 12 and No. 18 to finish with a 75. 

Zamzow played the course the same as Lind posting two birdies on No. 10 and No. 15 with five bogeys. She also shot a 40 on the front before finishing one-under on the back. 

Alba McCorquodale is tied for 82nd place after shooting an 81. McCorquodale finished nine-over on the round. She picked up one birdie on the par-four 13th with six bogeys and two doubles. 

Lucy Labdon is tied for 110th place after finishing with an 83. Labdon picked up one birdie on No. 8 and finished with 10 bogeys and a double. Franziska Mramor shot an 89 and is tied for 145th place. 

The Phoenix will tee off tomorrow beginning at 7:30 a.m. eastern time. Cumberland will stay with Rocky Mountain and Midway for round two.
