LEBANON, Tenn.--Cumberland University women's golf has earned an at-large bid into the 2026 NAIA Women's Golf National Championship, returning to the national stage for the first time since 2023. The 31st Annual NAIA Women's Golf National Championship will take place May 19-22 at Eagle Crest Golf Club in Ypsilanti, Michigan.
Cumberland secured one of the NAIA's at-large selections following a strong season and a second place finish at the Mid-South Conference Championships last week. The Phoenix will be joined in the national field by fellow Mid-South Conference Lindsey Wilson, who earned the league's automatic qualifying berth and the University of the Cumberlands.
The national championship appearance marks Cumberland's seventh trip in program history. The Phoenix enter the championship after putting together a consistent season against some of the top competition in the NAIA, highlighted by a strong spring season.
Matilda Lind was named the Mid-South Conference Golfer of the Year and earned First Team All-Conference honors including four Top-10 finishes.
Lucy Labdon and
Alba McCorquodale also earned First Team All-Conference honors and
Crystal Zamzow earned Second Team honors.
The Phoenix are currently ranked 16th in the latest NAIA Women's Golf Coaches' Top 25 Poll released ahead of the championship selections.
The 2026 NAIA Women's Golf National Championship will air on the Urban Edge Network and the NAIA Network, produced by The National Golf Network. Broadcast links, apps, and connected TV information can be found at
www.naia.org/watch. Live results, leaderboards, and tournament stats can be tracked on the

To receive an individual automatic berth, the conference medalist must come from a non-qualifying team or be an eligible returning All-Tournament Team performer from the previous national championship. Additional at-large individual selections are determined by the NAIA Women's Golf Executive Committee.
First and second-round pairings and tee times for the national championship will be announced on NAIA.org prior to the start of the event.
