BOWLING GREEN, Ky.--Matilda Lind earns individual medalist honors as the Phoenix take third place at the Mid-South Conference Fall Preview at Bowling Green Country Club. 

Cumberland finished in third place posting rounds of 325-311-313 for a total of 949 strokes through 54 holes. The Cumberlands won the event at 937 strokes followed by Lindsey Wilson in second place at 943. Freed-Hardeman finished in fourth at 995 with Bethel and Campbellsville tied for fifth at 1006. Georgetown finished last with 1071 strokes. 

Matilda Lind picked up her first career win, beating out Tara Laverty from Lindsey Wilson by one stroke. Lind shot rounds of 77-77-75 for a 229 total at 13-over. She finished the second round with a five-over before closing with her best round of the tournament. Lind had the best numbers on the par 5's in the tournament playing them at two-under and also had the second-most birdies of the event with six. She fired 31 pars across the 54 holes. 

Crystal Zamzow finished in seventh place at 239 strokes, her highest finish of the season. Zamzow finished the second round with a four-over 76 and added an 80 in her final. She finished tied with Lind for the second-most birdies of the tournament with six. 

Lucy Labdon also cracked the Top 10 tied for eighth place at 240 strokes. Labdon also posted a 76 and an 80 in her final two rounds carding four birdies at the event. 

Alba McCorquodale and Franziska Mramor each tied for 20th place at 249 strokes. McCorquodale finished round two with an 87 before shooting an 81 in her final round. Mramor improved through each round of the tournament shooting a 82 in round two and a 78 in the third. 

Katelyn DeHart, competing as an individual, finished with 290 total strokes in 40th place.

The tournament today marks the end of the fall season with the Phoenix set to return to the links in the spring.
