Lind Claims First Career Victory, Named Mid-South Conference Women’s Golfer of the Week

LEBANON, Tenn.--Cumberland University junior Matilda Lind has been named the Mid-South Conference Women's Golfer of the Week, the league announced Monday.

Lind captured medalist honors at the Mid-South Conference Fall Preview, carding rounds of 77-77-75 to finish first out of 45 golfers and win the tournament by one stroke for her first career win. The Sweden native showed consistency throughout all three rounds, finishing two-under on par 5s and tying for the second-most birdies in the field with six. She also recorded 31 pars.

This marks Lind's first career Mid-South Conference Golfer of the Week honor this season and her fifth in her career.
