LEBANON, Tenn.--Junior Matilda Lind earns Mid-South Conference Women's Golfer of the Week, announced by conference officials on Monday. 

The Sweden native carded rounds of 80, 78, and a tournament-best 74 to finish tied for eighth overall in a field of 43 golfers. Lind's final-round 74 marked one of the top scores in the final round and propelled her into the top 10 on the leaderboard.

Competing on the 5,818-yard, par-72 layout at Kinderlou Forest, Lind improved each round, shaving six strokes off her opening-round score to close the tournament on a high note. She posted six birdies in the tournament to lead the Phoenix. 

Lind earns her second conference player of the week honor this season, the first came after she won the Mid-South Conference Fall Preview. This is her sixth golfer of the week honor of her career.
