Men's Tennis Ranked 19th in NAIA Women's Preseason Top 25 Poll

LEBANON, Tenn. - - The Cumberland men's tennis team will begin their 2025-26 campaign ranked No. 19 in the NAIA Men's Tennis Preseason Coaches' Poll, earning national recognition after another strong campaign.

The Phoenix finished last season with a 15-10 overall record and a 4-2 mark in conference play, highlighted by multiple wins over ranked opponents and a berth in the NAIA National Championship. Cumberland spent all of the season inside the Top 25, and this year's preseason ranking reinforces the program's consistency on the national stage.

This spring will feature a new-look lineup for the Phoenix, as the team returns just two players, Raphael Lee and Arne Sohmer, from last year's roster. Despite the turnover, the program remains confident in its ability to reload and compete at a high level, backed by a strong culture and the momentum built in recent seasons.

With a mix of returning leadership and fresh talent, Cumberland will look to maintain its national standing and continue progressing as one of the NAIA's most respected men's tennis programs.
