Tarpley Named Mid-South Conference Offensive Player of the Week After Dominant Showing at Oakland City

LEBANON, Tenn. - - Cumberland's Emaleigh Tarpley has been selected as the Mid-South Conference Offensive Player of the Week following a stellar all-around performance in the Phoenix's 77–50 road win over Oakland City University.

Tarpley was unstoppable inside, posting 20 points and 11 rebounds for her fourth double-double of the season. The junior forward shot an efficient 9-of-14 from the field, added a perfect 1-for-1 from three, and converted her lone free throw attempt to anchor a CU offense that controlled the game from the opening tip.

Tarpley also chipped in three assists, three steals, and was active on the offensive glass with six offensive boards, repeatedly creating second-chance opportunities. She scored in every quarter, highlighted by a dominant third period where she tallied 10 points on 4-of-4 shooting.

The honor is the second of Tarpley's career and the first Offensive Player of the Week honor.
