Three Phoenix Women hit NAIA Standards on Day Two of PNC Lenny Lyles

LOUISVILLE, Ky.--Praise Idamadudu, Zoe Vlk, and Isabelle Aalders each hit NAIA standards on the second day of the PNC Lenny Lyles. 

Idamadudu ran in the 60m prelims finishing in 10th place to miss out on the finals. She posted a 7.53, securing an NAIA 'A' standard and the fourth-fastest time in the NAIA this season. Idamadudu has already posted a 7.52 earlier this year. 

In the throws, Zoe Vlk finished in 12th place in the shot, throwing 13.63m to earn an NAIA 'B' standard and move up to 10th in the national rankings.

The high jump squad saw two top-10 finishes, with Isabelle Aalders clearing 1.65m to place 8th in the seeded division. The mark hits NAIA 'B' standards. Leesa Mutandwa jumped 1.50m to finish 9th in the unseeded division.

In the distance events, Lauren Crissinger clocked 19:22.92 in the 5,000m. In the unseeded mile, Sharon Jerop led the Phoenix with a season-best 5:41.50, followed by Jenna Towles, who set a personal record at 5:50.28, and Lilah Mohler, who finished in 6:00.24.

The Phoenix will now prepare for the Mid-South Conference Indoor Championship scheduled for February 16th in Louisville.
