Weather Forces Rescheduling of No. 14 Cumberland vs. No. 17 Life Women’s Soccer Match

LEBANON, Tenn.--Due to heavy rainfall in the area and the threat of storms in the forecast, Cumberland University women's soccer's anticipated matchup with No. 17 Life University has been rescheduled. Originally slated for Wednesday, September 24, the contest will now be played on Tuesday, October 7, at Lindsey Donnell Stadium.

The Phoenix, ranked No. 14 in the latest NAIA Women's Soccer Coaches' Poll, enter the match after a big win over No. 2 Cumberlands at home this past Saturday. Cumberland was set to face off against Life in a battle between two nationally ranked programs, but field conditions and the incoming weather system prompted the change to ensure the safety of both teams and fans.
