Lind in Hunt after Day One of Rohrman Invitational

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind.– Cumberland women's golf began its fall season on Monday with 36 holes at the Rohrman Invitational, hosted at the Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex. The Phoenix battled through challenging conditions on the Kampen Course and will finish the tournament with the final round on Tuesday.

Junior Matilda Lind led the way for Cumberland, posting a strong 70 in the opening round before carding a 79 in round two to sit at 9-over par and in third place individually with one hole to finish in the second round. She went under-par in her first round carding five birdies and three bogeys. Lind is three strokes behind the leader. 

Lucy Labdon followed with rounds of 85 and 81 for a two-round total of 166, placing her in a tie 18th. Crystal Zamzow recorded an 84-86 day to stand at 170 (+26) in 29th place, while Franziska Mramor turned in an 85 and 89 for a total of 174 (+30) to sit in a tie for 33rd. Caitlyn Bilham rounded out the Phoenix lineup with a 96 in round one followed by a 94 in round two, sitting at 190 (+46) in 45th.

Competing as an individual, Katelyn DeHart carded rounds of 110 and 99 for a total of 209 (+58).

The Phoenix will close out competition at the Rohrman Invitational with Tuesday's final round.
