Cumberland’s Fredriksson Draws Pairings for NAIA National Championship

LEBANON, Tenn.--NAIA officials have announced the first and second-round pairings for the 2026 NAIA Men's Golf National Championship, with Cumberland's Gustav Fredriksson set to tee off May 12-13 at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Illinois.

Fredriksson will compete as an individual qualifier after winning the 2026 Mid-South Conference Championship. He is paired with Jose Vidal of Oakland City (Ind.) and Francisco de Bethencourt of Milligan (Tenn.) for the opening two rounds of competition. The Cumberland standout is scheduled for a 2:00 p.m. CT tee time in Tuesday's first round, beginning on Hole 10 as part of the afternoon session.

In Wednesday's second round, Fredriksson will again be grouped with Vidal and de Bethencourt, this time teeing off at 8:40 a.m. CT, starting on Hole 1 during the morning session.

The 2026 NAIA National Championship begins May 12 and runs through May 15. After Wednesday's round the field will be cut to include the Top 15 teams and ties and the six lowest-scoring individuals that remain.

The NAIA will be airing coverage of the 2026 NAIA National Championship on the Urban Edge Network as well as live scoring will be available throughout the event.
