KANSAS CITY, Mo.-- Cumberland University women's volleyball remains in receiving votes in the second edition NAIA Women's Volleyball Coaches' Top 25 Poll, released Wednesday by the national office.

The Phoenix are coming off a 3-3 record from the last NAIA Women's coaches poll.

Cumberland has collected dominating victories against Olivet Nazarene University and conference opponents Bethel University, winning the two games in straight 3-0 sets. Their third win during the stretch came in a tight affair against Point University, beating them 3-2.

Carola Schnidrig paces the attack with 146 kills this season, a tally of just less than three per set. Carlee Rogers is not far behind the Argentine with 133 kills of her own, also tacking on 448 assists for a per set average of nearly seven.

Some shuffling is taking place as teams settle into conference play, while Eastern Oregon and McPherson (Kan.) are the only teams to remain at the same rank as the previous poll. Twelve teams moved up in the poll and 11 were bumped down.

The University of the Cumberlands (Ky.) dropped from No. 10 to No. 21 but still remains the highest Mid-South Conference member.

Cumberland will travel to Kentucky next Wednesday to take on the University of the Cumberlands.
