Cumberland Men's Track and Field Dominate Decathlon on Day Two at Berry College, Secure Top Finishes

Rome, Ga.--The Cumberland men's track and field team shine in the decathlon at Berry College, clinching four top-four finishes to cap off day two. 

In the decathlon event, Dinkon Sinisterra delivered a strong performance, finishing second in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 16.19 seconds. He also impressed in the discus throw, securing third place with a distance of 34.21 meters. Sinisterra continued his success, taking sixth in the javelin throw with a distance of 42.03 meters and fourth in the 1500 meters, completing the race in 5:05.06. Additionally, he claimed ninth in the pole vault, clearing 3.05 meters.

Tate Tevaughn also showcased his skills in the decathlon, clinching first place in the discus throw with a distance of 37.34 meters. He followed this up with a fifth-place finish in the pole vault, clearing 3.55 meters.
 
In other field events, Admed Demerdash secured third place in the triple jump, leaping a distance of 14.39 meters, while Scarlassara Liyu finished fifth with a jump of 12.32 meters.

The meet will conclude tomorrow, April 14th.
