CHATTANOOGA, Tenn.--Cumberland women's golf is in third place of a three team event against the University of the Cumberlands and Lindsey Wilson. 

The Blue Raiders are in the lead after the first round shooting a 302 as a team. The Cumberlands are in second at 307 while the Phoenix posted a 316 in third. 

Lucy Labdon is tied for fifth place after posting a 76 in round one. Labdon had a slow start playing the front nine at four over with a double and two bogeys. She picked it up on the back nine playing it at even-par with a birdie on No. 10 and No. 17 and two bogeys. She is one stroke back from the leaders in first. 

Nathalie Nutu shot a 78 in her first round to sit in ninth place. Nutu notched seven bogeys in the round, but finished strong with her one and only birdie on 18. She shot a 39 on the front  and 40 on the back. 
 
Matilda Lind posted an 80 to sit in 13th place. Lind posted one birdie on par 3 No. 8. She had five bogeys and two doubles on two par 5's.  

Caitlyn Bilham is two strokes behind Lind after shooting an 82. Bilham is in 15th place. She also posted one birdie in her round posting a birdie on No. 15. She had nine bogeys and one double. 

Ida Furuheim is in 18th place after shooting an 85. Furuheim posted a 47 on the front, but played much better on the back shooting a 38 with a birdie on No. 11. 

There is a four-way tie for first place as Ginevra Capo and Maria Neira from the Cumberlands and Kayla Saunders and Katie Biddlecombe from Lindsey Wilson each carded a three-over 75. 

The Phoenix will finish out the Battle for the Bay tomorrow.
