NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Men's Track and Field secures an "A" Standard at the Vanderbilt Invitational
Dinkon Sinisterra competed in the Heptathlon events and finished 3rd overall and in his individual events which consist of the 60 meter hurdles with a time of 8.85, pole vault with a 2.90 and the 1000 meter with a time recording 2:55.86.
Amir Mersal finishes top for the Phoenix in the men's triple jump,securing "A" standard and jumping a 15.06 to finish in 6th place and first among the rest of the NAIA competitors. Ahmed Demerdash finished in 25th place, with teammate
Liyu Scarlassara finishing in 27th place.
In the men's mile, the Phoenix had one competitor in Charles Hughes who finished in 46th place respectively. Hughes ran his mile in 4:28.89.
The Phoenix will be back in action at the PNC Lenny Lyles event in Louisville, Kentucky, though they will have a weekend off as they don't compete until January 31st.
