BOWLING GREEN, Ky.--Cumberland men's golf wraps up their fall schedule with a sixth place finish at the Mid-South Conference Fall Preview at Bowling Green Country Club on Tuesday. 

Cumberland posted rounds of 319-304-302 to combine for a 925 total across three rounds. Lindsey Wilson won the event at 870 strokes beating the Cumberlands by eight strokes. Bethel took third place at 895 shots followed by Campbellsville in fourth at 901. Georgetown finished in fifth at 905 with the Phoenix in sixth. Freed-Hardeman was seventh at 938 shots. 

Gustav Fredriksson was the top finisher for Cumberland finishing at nine-over in a tie for 15th place. Fredriksson started the tournament slow, but finished strong playing the final 18 holes at one-over par. He fired five birdies in round two and added two more in the third round with three bogeys and 13 pars. 

Patrick Chesnut ended up in 29th place at 233 strokes. Chestnut carded back-to-back rounds of 75 to move up a couple spots on the leaderboard. He finished with three birdies each in both the second and third round. 

Garrett Maria dropped down the leaderboard to finish tied for 30th at 235 shots. Maria had just one birdie in the final two rounds, but managed to shoot back-to-back 80's. Harry Cagill finished in 36th a 237 strokes. He improved each round finishing with a 77 and two-over 74 with five birdies in the final round. 

Carter Stroup and Luke Carroll finished in 44th and 45th place each 242 strokes and 243 strokes respectively. Stroup shot an 81 and an 80 in his final two rounds while Carroll shot an 85 before shooting a 73 in his final round. 

The end of the tournament today marks the end of the fall golf season with the Phoenix returning to the links in the spring.
