Women's Golf Closes out the Fall in 20th

LEBANON, Tenn.--Cumberland women's golf capped a strong fall season with a move up to No. 20 in the final NAIA Women's Golf Coaches' Top 25 Poll of the semester, announced Friday by the national office.

The Phoenix, who have been steadily climbing the rankings throughout the fall, close the semester inside the Top 20 after an impressive finish to their tournament slate. Cumberland posted consistent results across a competitive schedule. The Phoenix ended the fall with a third place finish at the Mid-South Conference Fall Preview. Matilda Lind earned her first career win at the event.

Keiser (Fla.) remained the unanimous No. 1 team in the nation after another dominant fall campaign, while British Columbia held firm at No. 2 and Dalton State (Ga.) stayed at No. 3. Marian (Ind.) and SCAD Atlanta (Ga.) rounded out the top five.

Within the Mid-South Conference, Cumberlands (Ky.) ranks 11th, Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) 18th, and Cumberland at No. 20, giving the MSC three programs in the national Top 20.

Friday's ranking marks the final rating of the fall, with the next poll scheduled for March 26-27, when the 2025-26 season resumes.
