CAMBELLSVILLE, Ky. -- Phoenix Cheer Takes Fourth Place in Round Two of Campbellsville Invitational

Cumberland cheer took the mat in Campbellsville, Ky. after a strong showing at Georgetown in January with a second place finish. The Phoenix placed fifth behind Mid South opponent Cumberlands who took first place in round one. The Cumberlands finished round one with a score of 87.90. Cumberland finished round one with a score of 77.81. 

Cumberland performed stronger in round two with a score of 79.80. They defeated Campbellsville (71.43), Brescia (66.60), and Lindsey Wilson (60.90). University of the Cumberlands took round two with a score of 88.83. 

Phoenix Cheer will hit the mat again Saturday, March 8th at The Mid-South Conference Championships in Bowling Green, Ky.
