CLEVELAND, Tenn.--Cumberland Track & Field turned in a strong performance at the Lee Invitational, highlighted by a meet-record win for the women's 4x400m relay team and six top-five finishes across events.

For the men, Dinkon Sinisterra put together a solid performance in the decathlon, finishing in third place with 5,657 points, the best score in the NAIA thus far. He finished among the top competitors in multiple events. He threw 30.43m (99-10) in the discus, recorded a mark of 10.99m (36-00.75) in the shot put, and cleared 1.77m (5-09.75) in the high jump. He also clocked 52.33 in the 400m, threw 41.23m (135-03) in the javelin, and vaulted 2.90m (9-06.25) in the pole vault.

Logan Istre posted a personal-best time of 48.70 in the 400m, finishing fifth overall, while Veron Ifill also hit a personal record with a time of 49.64 for 10th place.

The women's 4x400m relay team of Isabella Lehtinen, Ezthia Maycock, Leesa Mutandwa, and Praise Idamadudu claimed first place with a time of 3:50.12, setting a new Lee Invitational record. The time is the fastest in the NAIA this season and meets NAIA "A" standards. 

Zoe Vlk turned in a strong showing in the throws, placing second in the shot put with a mark of 13.48m (44-02.75) and third in the discus at 41.04m (134-07). 

Isabella Lehtinen impressed in the 100m hurdles, finishing third with a time of 14.79. In the 400m, Leesa Mutandwa ran 59.76 to finish fourth, while Ezthia Maycock clocked 1:00.59 for fifth.

Lauren Crissinger and Samantha Parker both ran the 5000m, placing 26th (19:39.83) and 31st (20:14.41), respectively. In the 1500m, Sarah Wikerson (5:18.27) and Hope Britt (5:34.40) rounded out the field.

Cumberland will return to action next weekend as they continue their outdoor season at the UAB Spring Invite.
