LONDON, Ky. - - Cumberland Men's Golf remained unmoved after day two at Crooked Creek Golf Club, finishing tied for fifth place with a 897 total.

The Phoenix carded a 302 in their third round, totaling 897 strokes to tie with William Penn. Both University of the Cumberlands A and B teams finished in first and second with totals of 864 and 885 respectively, followed by UNOH and Georgetown in third and fourth.

Patrick Chesnut was a model of consistency for the Phoenix as he went five over with a score of 221, tying for ninth place. In round three the senior went one over with a massive 14 pars, as well as an eagle on hole three.

Separated by one stroke, Gustav Fredriksson finished tied for 13th place after a final round score of 74. The Swede shot a total of 13 birdies in the tournament, including nine of them in the third round with four birdies.

Egan Hadelman had a third round to remember, shooting his low round of the tournament with a 73. The freshman poured in another tournament high in the round with an excellent five birdies, bouncing himself up ten spots after day two to finish tied for 24th.

Garrett Maria was one of five total golfers tied for 24th, alongside his teammate Hadelman. The junior struggled to keep up his momentum from the second round, shooting an 82 in round three.

Carter Stroup landed in 41st place to round out the lineup for the Phoenix, shooting an 84 on day. Tiger Houston also competed as an individual in the tournament, finishing in 31st place with a six over third round, carding a total of 231

The Phoenix will have a couple of weeks off before coming back to Nashville for their home tournament, welcoming in a number of teams for the Music City Classic on April 13th and 14th.
