Men's Track and Field Complete Day Two of the Lee Invitational with a 4x400m Victory

CLEVELAND, Tenn. - - Men's track and Field rounded out day two of the Lee Fast Break Invitational with a team win as well as some top finishes in individual events.

The Phoenix 4x400m team ran an A standard race of 3.19.92 as they took the win in Cleveland on day two.

Dinkon Sinisterra placed fourth in the javelin throw with a distance of 42.69m and was the second best among NAIA competitors. Sinisterra placed sixth in the 110m hurdles and was second among NAIA competitors. The senior placed 22nd in the discus.

Ohenetega Orekevwie took the win in the triple jump with a distance of 14.02 while Liyu Scarlassara took fifth place with 13.27m.

Bela Brandl finished 22nd in the 800m, while Chalres Hughes finished in 45th. Garrett Tunks finished in 90th, while Wesley Claderon was just behind him in 94th.

Adboulaye Bah finished seventh in the 100m which was second among NAIA competitors. Diego Silva Perez finished the 100m in 24th place.

Track and Field will be back in action on May 3 as they challenge in the Mid-South Conference Championships.
