Lind Captures MSC Golfer of the Week Honors with Fifth Place Showing at Music City Classic

LEBANON, Tenn. - - After an outstanding showing at the Music City Classic, Matilda Lind was selected the Mid-South Conference Women's Golfer of the Week, as was announced by the league office this afternoon.

In a field with 18 teams ranked inside of the Top 50 rankings from Scoreboard, Lind and the Phoenix combined for an excellent showing. As a team, Cumberland outshot three teams ranked above them and also above another four teams inside the Top 25.

Individually, Lind was stellar as always, shooting a 218 over her three rounds with a low of 71 in the second round. The Swede led all Mid-South competitors by at least four strokes, landing as the only MSC golfer inside of the top ten, while also tying for second place in total birdies with ten.

Lind earns her third conference player of the week honor this season and is her seventh golfer of the week honor of her career.
